Rak Shalom A Cappella
|
Rak Shalom, founded in 2005 at the University of Maryland, is a dynamic Jewish a cappella group known for high-energy performances and a diverse repertoire blending Israeli and American pop with traditional melodies. We’ve performed across the country, sharing intricate arrangements and powerful vocals with audiences of all kinds.
Now in my third year with the group, I’ve served as both Assistant Music Director and Music Director, choreographed our winning set at the 2025 Northeast Hillel A Cappella Competition (First Place), and helped record our 10th studio album, set to release in Fall 2025. Below are two original SATB arrangements I created on Noteflight: one of Out My Way by Leroy Sanchez, and the second a mashup of Lie Lie Lie by Joshua Bassett and So Lie by FAOUZIA.
