Designed as part of my ARCH401 studio, The Triad Hall of Music is a hybrid music museum and performance venue organized around the fundamental musical form of the triad. The building’s parti uses two sliding triangular volumes, which naturally carve out both the solid interior program and the open public courtyard at the heart of the site. A grand stair establishes a clear promenade, guiding visitors from one wing—home to interactive exhibitions—through the central axis of the building toward the opposite wing, where practice rooms and the main theatre reside. The project explores spatial procession, geometric transformation, and the creation of civic space through both interior and exterior performance environments.
